高头乡位于县境东南。东邻南靖县，西南与湖坑镇相连，北接古竹乡。该乡于1997年从古竹乡划设，面积35.6平方公里，乡政府设于高北村，距县城46公里。2000年，有5个村委会，82个村民小组（其中革命基点村4个），2273户9912人。设完中1所，小学4所，卫生院1所。名胜古迹有金山古寨、银山寺等。

Gaotou Township is located in the southeast of the county. It is adjacent to Nanjing County in the east, Hukeng Town in the southwest, and Guzhu Township in the north. The township was set up from Guzhu Township in 1997, covering an area of 35.6 square kilometers. The township government is located in Gaobei Village, 46 kilometers away from the county capital. In 2000, there were 5 village committees, 82 villager groups (including 4 revolutionary base villages), and 2,273 households with 9,912 people. There are 1 combined junior and senior high school, 4 primary schools, and 1 hospital. Places of historic interest and scenic beauty include Jinshan Ancient Village, Yinshan Temple, etc.

 

大岭下村位于较偏远的山区，与湖坑镇毗邻，面积246公倾，有5个自然村，360户1232人，党员45名。大岭下村主要经济作物为红柿、桃、李等，面积1910亩，年产1531吨。主要景点有位于村口规模较大的保生大帝庙。一条小溪自东而西从村中横穿而过，溪水潺潺，景色迷人。这里环境优美，民风淳朴，人与自然和谐相处。

Dalingxia Village is located in a relatively remote mountainous area, adjacent to Hukeng Town. It covers 246 hectares and has 5 natural villages, 360 households with 1,232 people (this figure may be not updated). The main economic crops in Dalingxia Village are red persimmon, peach and plum, with an area of 1910 mu and an annual output of 1,531 tons. The main attractions include the Bao Sheng Da Di Temple, which is located at the entrance of the village. A stream runs across the village from east to west. Here, the environment is beautiful, the folk customs are pure and honest, while people and nature live in harmony.
